Born in India, raised in Singapore and now settled in the Netherlands, I dream in English, and understand/speak 4 other languages - namely Tamil, Telugu, French and Dutch - at varying degrees of proficiency. Since I was young, I've had two impossible wishes: 1) to know everything about everything, and 2) to save the world. These impossible questions have helped me clarify the most important decisions in my life so far and even now, I keep trying to inch closer to achieving them every single day. Other than that, I love video games as an interactive artistic medium, writing as a form of reflexive thinking, and long walks with my dog Juno.
Trained as a chemical engineer and a policy analyst, I work as a climate scenario and policy consultant. I dabble in complexity science, AI prompt-fu and digital gardening to find synergies with my research and policy work. Glyphs & Graphs is my attempt at hypertext wordplay, intentionally amorphous thought experiments non-committal to any specific genre or topic. It has existed over the years under various titles on various platforms, and now here it is and here you are. On this iteration of my blog, I intend to capture interesting insights, media reviews and other useful resources I find along the way, as well as the occasional poem, artwork or photo that happens to take my fancy. I hope that the low friction of Notion adjacent to my personal note-taking system will encourage me to write more frequently, but that is a record only the future can verify at the moment of writing.
